夏日炎炎,啤酒節、啤酒趴、在觀光海邊促銷啤酒,各種活動都讓人以為啤酒是消暑好夥伴。其實大錯特錯!家醫科醫師提醒,喝冰啤酒就跟吃冰一樣,一時解渴反而影響散熱、排汗,喝完更不舒服;酷暑下想解渴,還是喝常溫白開水最適合。國泰醫院家庭醫學科主治醫師葉姿辰表示,冰品對體溫只有暫時性的降溫作用,事實上,大太陽下、運動後等大量流汗情況下,因為體溫高,血管擴張可幫助排汗、散熱,這時若冰品一下子沖下肚,迅速讓血管收縮,反倒影響排汗,讓體內降溫速度變慢;同理,夏天沖冷水澡也有相同負面影響。

她指出,尤其是有鼻過敏、氣喘、心肺功能不佳等問題者,大量流汗時馬上吃冰,可能誘發氣喘發作、症狀加重,有心臟功能問題者冠狀動脈突然收縮,可能導致狹心症發作;至於啤酒不只太冰傷身,一般啤酒熱量高,小心只想消暑卻愈喝愈胖。「吃冰一時涼快但不能舒服很久」,葉姿辰建議,如果真想吃冰,大量流汗、運動後半小時,等排汗散熱到一階段再吃,喝常溫白開水還是最好選擇;另外,洗溫水澡可促進新陳代謝、血管擴張把汗排出,也加速散熱。國民健康署提醒,防止夏日熱傷害,千萬別等到口渴才喝水,每天至少喝2000cc白開水,戶外工作或運動時,每小時補充2至4杯(1杯240cc)白開水,但別喝得太冰,以免胃不舒服,更應避免喝含酒精或含糖量高的飲料,免得身體流失更多水分。飲酒過量 有害健康(中國時報),
