施振榮在1992年提出「微笑曲線」，強調企業增加盈利，不是中段的組裝、製造，而是往左、右兩端發展。義大球星胡金龍也能展現「微笑曲線」的魅力，帶領義大與球員工會開創新局。胡金龍昨天在對戰猿隊的5局下，帶頭轟出2分炮，帶動高國輝連棒全壘打，使得義大5比2拉開領先分數，終場義大6比2打敗猿隊，獲得3連勝，胡金龍拿下MVP。

胡金龍對外以球員工會理事長身分，帶領工會力爭球員權益之外；他對內扮演另一個重要角色，就是化身義大的「心靈導師」，開導球員快樂打球很重要，珍惜能夠走進球場的每一刻！胡金龍對有些球員進了球場就板起鐵青的臉孔「很有意見」！他說：「我常告訴他們開心一點，現在有人付薪水讓大家打球，那是全世界最幸福的事了。」胡金龍強調，職棒球員打球可以賺錢，不必操心球場上的大、小事，只要專心打球就行了，天下那有這麼好的事？想想看，社會上一般人打球還要與別人爭搶球場、自掏腰包付費。」其實胡金龍是在灌輸隊友「平常心」的重要性！他認為，打球快樂一點，有助於減少壓力，壓力多了對打球表現反而不好，綁手綁腳。就像施老闆的「微笑曲線」，球員閉口、板臉讓周邊的氣氛沉悶，自己與旁人都不舒服，影響自己的比賽，如果重視曲線兩端上揚的線條，就是開心打球，製造更多正向效果與收穫。胡金龍有時讓人擔心會過分樂觀，不過，他的樂觀卻是一股「無畏」的力量，可以帶動球隊的攻擊氣勢；他也可以帶領球員工會突破多年來的僵局，他的樂觀也能感染周遭，讓工會「動」了起來！(中國時報)
