    　警方指出，死者身穿襯衫、短褲、防滑鞋，身上沒有明顯外傷，現場也看不出打鬥痕跡，初步研判應是釣客，可能是在山坡下的溪邊捕魚時，為了躲雨想要爬上山坡，卻不慎跌落蓄水池內，死亡時間約2、3天。，

竹縣：新竹縣張姓男子日前竊取一輛載滿工程工具及工地建材的小貨車，其以為將此外觀的贓車藏放在工地旁就不會讓人起疑，沒想到新竹縣警竹東分局二重埔派出所警員道高一丈，眼尖查出該車是贓車，待張男現身取車時，當場人贓俱獲。
